Description

Learn statistics, then use R to put these ideas into practise at work. The course will assist you in implementing these principles while teaching you the fundamentals of statistics and data analysis. The programme is explained with the help of a number of examples and data sets.

The following statistical fields are covered: Mean, Mode, Median, Quartile, Range, Inter Quartile Range, and Standard Deviation are descriptive statistics. (Using the psych package and the main R function).

Three often used charts for data visualisation include the histogram, box and whisker plot, and scatter plot (using base R commands). Basic Concepts, Permutations, and Combinations in Probability. Concepts of Population and Sampling.

Normal, binomial, and poisson distributions in probability (Base R functions and the visualise package)

One- and two-sample hypotheses are tested using the z, t, F, and Chi-Square tests.
