Description

QUnit was originally developed by John Resig as part of jQuery. In 2008 it got its own home, name and API documentation, allowing others to use it for their unit testing as well. QUnit itself has a lot more to offer, with specific support for testing asynchronous code such as timeouts, AJAX and events. QUnit is a powerful, easy-to-use JavaScript unit testing framework. It’s used by the jQuery, jQuery UI and jQuery Mobile projects and is capable of testing any generic JavaScript code, including itself! QUnit is enough to test any regular JavaScript code, and it’s even able to test server-side JavaScript via some JavaScript engine like Rhino or V8.

Through this course you shall understand the QUnit.js components and how to use them in testing and debug the code.
