The objective of the project is to create an asset management system web application using VB.Net. 

The case study is to develop a system that will allow users to configure and dispose off assets, set warranty period, insurance expiry date, AMC details, attended service details etc pertaining to an asset. It should allow to generate service logs, reminders, service due etc. 

By the end of the course, participants will 

• work on VB.Net, ADO.Net and SQL Server. 

• Create menu, forms, controls etc.  

• Create database, tables, constraints, stored procedures etc in SQL server. 

• Codes in VB.Net, Unit Testing, Debugging etc 

• Work on ADO.Net data objects.

This practical-based project will, in a detailed manner, work on database design, UI development, coding, unit testing and system testing for the app.

The difficulty level of the project is Project or Advanced level. Basic knowledge of programming and database management is essential. It will be advantageous to know .Net framework, VB.Net programming language & SQL Basics.
