Description
This SPSS data analysis course was developed with one goal in mind: to assist those without a background in statistics or mathematics in using SPSS to analyse data, select the appropriate descriptive statistics approach, and confidently present their findings.
First, we'll walk students through the SPSS interface, show them how to use it, and show them how to steer clear of some common errors when selecting variable types and formats in SPSS. Then we'll get into entering data into SPSS, sorting, modifying, and removing data, and most crucially, how to use recode functions to change any variable into a new variable.
The next section of the lesson will concentrate on descriptive statistics using SPSS, and students will learn how to perform the main descriptive statistics including Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation, and One-Samples t-Test, among others.
The course provides a simple, step-by-step tutorial for mastering descriptive statistics in SPSS and covers everything from entering data into the programme to interpreting the results.
